Peaches's Story...
Peaches

Est. DOB: April 29, 2011

Description: DSH Buff Tabby

Gender: Female

Adoption Fee: $100.00

Peaches is such a pretty color, her name describes her so well! She’s a sweet and friendly girl who loves to play with toys. Don’t let her size fool you, she still has a lot of playful kitten left in her, but unlike kittens she will sleep through the night.

Peaches has been in a foster home with other cats and has done well and enjoys playing with her foster friends. Peaches is a big sister to the Doctor Who kittens.

Peaches was rescued with several siblings from a bad living situation.

Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Apex Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Apex, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
