Dixie's Story...
Dixie was saved from a local shelter after the shelter became full and she became urgent. She is approximately 6 months old. She is very calm for a puppy her age. She will run around the yard and then sit in front of her foster mom. She is very eager to please and very attentive to people. She appears to be housebroken as she has not had any accidents in her foster home. She prefers to be with her family rather than sleeping in her crate but we are working on it. She is excellent with other dogs and cats. Dixie is fully vetted, which includes; spayed, all vaccines, heartworm negative, kept on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Arlington Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
