Gina's Story...
Hi! I'm Gina and I am a 4 year old Chihuahua mix. I was rescued off the streets of Southern California. Living on the streets, it was hard for me to find enough food so I am very underweight. The wonderful people here at the Grace Foundation are taking great care of me and helping me get back to a healthy weight. Despite everything I have been through, I am still a little love. I really love people and enjoy being held and loved on. I would really love to find a new family who will continue to help me gain weight and give me lots of love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gina, a El Dorado Hills Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Dorado Hills, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Dorado Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Dorado Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Dorado Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Dorado Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
