My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

About 5 years ago, when I was a very small puppy, (they think I was born in May, 2007) I was rescued from the street by a very nice lady who did not want me to get hit by a car. I have spent most of my life in a loving home, playing with the grand-kids when they would come over, and being a wonderful friend. But, my family has been through several medical issues and can no longer keep me with them. They decided it would be best to call the Decatur County Humane Association to try to find me a forever family who would be able to spend more time with me. Everyone says I am a very sweet, easy-going, loving girl. I love to get a bath, and my groomer thinks it is so cute that I will hold my paws up to get my nails clipped. As you can see from the last picture, I just got my summer cut because it is so hot here. I am even house-broken. I am heart-worm negative, have had all my shots, and I weigh 16 lbs. If you can give me a forever home, I promise to be a great companion and love you forever!
