My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This 8 month old is a bundle of energy and will steal your heart with her silly antics and puppy cuteness!!

Cora wants to be part of everything you do and is eager to please. She loves to play and especially loves the water. She plays in her kiddie pool just like a little kid, splashing and pouncing and chasing her tail. She likes to go outside to play and will grab a toy on the way out. She’s curious and will get into things if left unattended. Being young she requires daily exercise and mental stimulation but once she’s tired she’ll settle down with you in the house.

As with most young dogs Cora is a work in progress. When she arrived at a local shelter the staff fell in love with her sweet personality. Recognizing she had not gotten the training young dogs need, they turned to GSRNE to find the right adopter.

One of her biggest challenges has been learning appropriate behavior with other dogs. Cora gets over excited and will get in a dog’s face trying to engage them in play. This has resulted in some dogs getting annoyed and reacting negatively. She’s not being aggressive and just wants to play and hasn't yet learned appropriate bounderies! This is definitely an area that will require continued attention.

Cora is an adorable, friendly pup that’s looking for a family that’s willing to put a little extra effort into training and socialization. Good leadership and consistent rules are key. In return her new family will be rewarded with a wonderful, sweet girl that will bring a smile to your face and lots of laughs!
