Tashi's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Tashi's Story...
Tashi is a 5 year old male shih tzu. He was surrendered by his owner because she was moving to a place she said she could not take him. He was in such bad shape that he had to be completely shaved as you can see in his pictures. He is a very sweet and easy going dog, but as you can see he is a bit overweight. I have put him on a diet. So please don't hold it against him that he is fat and bald, because both of these can and will be fixed. He gets along well with other dogs and seems happy to spend time with people too. (TIA)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tashi, a Allentown Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
