My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RUFFLES is 19lbs of adorable love. He is a neutered, male, Shih Tzu with no male dominance, marking, or territoriality behaviors. His exact age is unknown but he is young - vet thinks probably under 2. He was found as a stray but the vet says that he is healthy and has been well cared for. He is up to date on his shots. Ruffles walks well on a leash and eats well. He is good with other dogs. He seems to do well with children - but only meets them on our walks. He does not seem to be comfortable with cats yet, but is spending time with one in his foster home. No aggression with the cat, other dogs, or over food. He is house trained and his house manners are good. He flies up and down stairs, understands "no," and sits on command. His favorite thing to do is to sit in a living room chair (usually the softest one with the best view) and chew on his rawhide. He is a little protective of his rawhide. The senior dogs are jealous that their missing teeth don't allow them to chew on things! RUFFLES will bring a lot of love to any family that takes him.
