Jenna's Story...
I LOVE THE WATER! I am very smart and sweet. I am very eager to please.Jenna is a SPECIAL NEEDS dog. She has dip dysplasia and will need surgery in the next couple years. Right now she has an extra wiggle in her walk. You won't know it by the way she runs and plays. She loves the water. Jenna is very smart and knows her basic commands and walks well on a leash. We have never adopted out dogs with disabilities and she is the only one we have. It's very sad that because she has this disability she doesn't have a home to call her own. She likes to play hard and then crash on the sofa and take a long nap. She was born March 17, 2012.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenna, a Golden Valley Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Golden Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Golden Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Golden Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Golden Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Golden Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
