Our Midnight Special is a handsome 4 year old Bloodhound mix that is waiting in California for his forever home. He has a soft and luxurious coat that’s difficult to stay away from. He is sweet and affectionate and is getting along well with all the dogs at doggie daycare. He likes to go for walks and car rides. He just seems to be a very easy going boy. He has just arrived at his foster home so check back for updates as he gets settled in! He weighs a healthy 65 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Midnight Special, a Sacramento area Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Sacramento area, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Sacramento area.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento area already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento area breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento area paves the way for another one to be saved.
