Maxx's Story...
I'm Maxx! I'm a 11 month old neutered male boxer/pit bull mix. I came in as a stray. I am a young boy who is sadly spending most of my formative years in the shelter. I really wish I had a family to call my own. I like playing ball, tug of war, and going for walks. I'm active, playful, and loving. If you're looking to add a sweet young guy to your family, I'm the one so come meet me! *Shelter note: Maxx is a great dog just waiting to be loved. He is dog selective so a meet and greet is required. We do not know about his reaction to cats because we are a dog only facility.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxx, a Nesquehoning Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Nesquehoning, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Nesquehoning.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nesquehoning already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nesquehoning breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nesquehoning paves the way for another one to be saved.
