My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Krissie is an extremely gentle, affectionate, well mannered yound dog who will make someone a great pet. She has the sweetest face and disposition as she is very laid back and will just melt your heart. Unfortunately Krissie was apparently hit by a car before coming to ALOE and won't put any weight on her rear left leg although you can hardly tell as hard as she runs and plays. She has been examined and x rayed by a vet who says she has a broken knee. The vet orthopedic surgeon who examined her x rays says to give her 4 to 6 weeks and it might heal itself. She appears to be putting more and more weight on the leg. If surgery is needed ALOE will raise funds to pay for it. Krissie is up to date on all shots, spayed, microchipped and is available for adoption or foster by someone willing to take a dog in site of her leg injury and possible surgery in the near future. Krissie is a really great dog who will be a wonderful, loving pet for someone. She was featured on channel 4's Low Country Live on July 17.
