Stonzie's Story...
Stauncy is an 85lb purebred German Shepherd, born 5/15/2011. She is good with small dogs and kids but not fond of large females. She is up to date on shots. She was adopted as a pup from a private party and has now found herself in need of a new home. This smart girl has learned "property boundaries" and will not go farther than allowed when outside off leash. She is a very sweet girl. Looking for someone who is familiar with the breed. This girl is a TOTAL sweetheart and loves loves loves attention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stonzie, a Lake Forest German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lake Forest, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lake Forest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Forest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Forest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Forest paves the way for another one to be saved.
