Boots's Story...
Boots is a sweet boy he is about a year and a half old but is not grown this breed is not through growing in size until 2 years of age he is around 60 pounds right now but could possiblly get to a size 80-90 pounds once fully grown he will bark when strangers and strange dogs approach here is alittle detail on the breed to find out if this breed is right for you he may be a mix but he is more anatolian than he is anything else

Right Breed for You?
Instinctively protective, the Anatolian is a calm, reserved breed around strangers, showing his loyal and loving nature only to his family. He enjoys children, but should be supervised around them in case he interprets rough play as a need to guard "his" child. Because he was bred to make independent decisions while working, owner commands may not be followed to the letter, but the Anatolian is trainable. Regular exercise and grooming is necessary.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boots, a Parsippany Anatolian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Parsippany, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Parsippany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parsippany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parsippany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parsippany paves the way for another one to be saved.
