Anatolian Shepherd Dog for adoption in Carrollton, Georgia - Linc

Linc's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Linc's Story...
Linc is a 5 to 7 year old, 120 pound, male, GSD/Malamute mix. Linc's ideal home would contain a six foot fenced in area where he could spend weather permitting days, and come in at night to a large crate. He prefers to be an only dog. He is aggressive towards small dogs, and most other large dogs. He can sometimes get along with another female dog his size or larger, as long as properly introduced. His best friend in foster care is another HLHR dog named, Seven.
Linc will sit on command, walks well on an Easywalk harness and six foot leash, and likes gentle petting. He is not fond of small children, but does ok with children over 12 if properly introduced.
Linc needs a home with experience in large, aloof dogs. Linc is fully vetted, and was even treated for heartworms during his ten months with HLHR. He has been adopted and brought back due the lack of exercise and intaraction with the family not appealing to him.
Linc's $175 adoption fee can be waived to the perfect home! Please contact Misty@hickorylevelhoundrescue.com for more info or go to www.hickorylevelhoundrescue.com to fill out the adoption application.

Our Adoption Process...

Each dog has an individual adoption fee based on the amount and what type of vet care they receive to get them healthy and adoptable. Each potential adopter is subject to questioning so that the particular dog an be matched properly. Each dog has individual home requirements. Many of our foster dogs are with their respective foster families for some time before a good match can be made. Most of them are already house broken and have some obedience training before they leave.
