Hawk and Falcon. Flamepoint Ragdolls. Born mid April 2012.
Regular adoption fee: see below
If you like Redheads and Ragdolls this little pair might be the perfect
combination. They are still a little shy but coming around. They were
taken young from our local shelter and fostered by a vet tech. Sadly,
this person fosters for a high kill shelter so once she got the kittens
"to weight' they had to be returned and put at risk for euthanasia. We
can't even begin to imagine the fortitude it takes to foster under those
conditions knowing that after you've poured a month or more of love and
TLC into your babies, you then may found out they got killed.
Thankfully our little pair is now safely in our kitten room waiting for
a foster home in Reno to have space to take them. They play play play
all day long with the other kittens but still tend to run under
something if we try to reach for them. One of them is getting pretty
friendly and both turn into little purr monsters if you hold them and
pet them. It's just the initial moment of contact that seems to frighten
them. That will change once they know our voices and figure out where
treats and toys are coming from.
If you are interested in adopting them and helping them through their
socialization process, let us know NOW! Otherwise, we expect Cyndy and
her daughter to have these boys super socialized by early to mid August.
Email Ellen@purebredsplus.org to let us know about your interest in this
little pair.
