Taegan. Bluepoint Snowshoe Tonkinese. Born approximately October 2011.

This cat is a hunka hunka love. What a fabulous boy. We found him a
small high kill shelter. He was in a bottom cage and hard to see. We'd
come to snag those darling Flamepoint kittens and the shelter volunteer
asked us to take a look at this cat. We were on the fence since he was
so quiet and unassuming and down in a dark corner. So, we pulled him
out to look at him and he melted our hearts. We really didn't get a feel
for how fantastic he was until we'd gotten him home and had a chance to
get to know him. He's an absolute lover boy. He rubs up against the mesh
on his quarantine cage, loves to be held, wants petting and more
petting. He seems super healthy, and a solid weight.

Taegan has beautiful markings and stunning blue eyes. He has very long
legs and big feet so we wonder how big he's going to get. The strange
thing is that one vet actually aged him at four months, which would mean
he's going to be a giant. We think he's older than that but it should be
interested to see how big he gets. Regardless of size he's already
gorgeous and that's not going to change. Taegan has some very Tonkinese
qualities. He has the "slick coat" of the tonk, and he's got a slightly
rounded out face like that breed would have. He's a unique boy and will
make someone a fabulous pet. He gets along with other cats and might
also be completely content as an only pet. We're not yet sure how he'd
do with dogs.
