My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sebastion. 2 yo Blue mitted Ragdoll
Regular adoption fee: see below

SEBASTION UPDATE Sept. 1, 2012: Sebastion is in his new foster home in Davis, CA and is healthy and thriving. He is a husky young 2 year old blue white-mitted ragdoll with pale blue eyes. His foster mom thinks he is handsome, gentle and sweet. He has transformed into a happy and confident cat in his new home where he plays and socializes with the young rascal kittens and is patient in letting them stalk and fun wrestle with him and teaching them manners. He loves to do the ragdoll flop, will let you gently give him a tummy rub and enjoys sleeping fully stretched out on his back, exposing a cute white fur stripe on his underside and his 4 cute white mitts. He has beautiful furred pantaloon rump. He is not a clingy type , loves to nap and lounge around the house, on your bed, and enjoys a peaceful household unless . . . . his human wants to play teasers or whizz flying birds over his head. He's ready for fun and games with kind human pursons. He can live with gentle cats. He comes litter trained with basic shots and laidback

Just look at this beautiful boy! We watched him for the longest time up
for adoption at a small local shelter. Surely he was going to get
adopted and we didn't need to worry about saving a space in our foster
system for him, right? We even visited with him briefly at a local
adoption event for the shelter. The place was like a tomb with no one
looking at the beautiful cats in their tiny cages at the pet store. So,
we called up and talked to someone who knows how to work their way into
this shelter which is slightly hostile to helpful rescue groups. She was
more than happy to work her magic and get him released to us, and after
two months of having him in their tiny adoption cages at the shelter,
they were finally ready to let him go. Once we got him, he was supposed to go on the life raft to his foster space in Santa Cruz but our coordination didn't work out as expected so
he's still up in Vacaville for a couple of weeks.

Sebastion is a gentle boy who almost didn't get put up for adoption
because he was considered "standoffish" initially by the shelter staff.
Of course this pampered boy must have been terrified, not just
standoffish if he found himself suddenly dumped into a small cage in a
shelter. Even when he first came to us it took him awhile to come out.
He'd open a cupboard and hide inside and we'd have to go looking for
him. Now that he's feeling more comfortable he's coming out and visiting
and hanging out with us while we watch TV. He is also liking hopping up
on the bed for some loving in the evenings while his foster mom reads a
few chapters in the latest spy novel. He's slightly chatting and super
loving. He seems to get along with other cats and he's getting used to
large gentle dogs. He's a large kitty but easy to lug around.
