BJ's Story...
CAMP CANINE DOG!!! BJ is a terrier/spaniel mix, about 2-3 years old and 16 pounds. BJ loves attention and he is very friendly. His favorite activities are playing with stuffed toys and chewing on rawhides. He loves to be held and will require some snuggle time. Snuggling will be a hard job, but someone will have to do it! When he’s done with the 8-10 week Camp Canine program, he'll be an AKC Good Citizen, who knows basic commands (sit, stay, down) and other skills he'll need to interact in public with humans other than his own and other dogs. He’s fully-vetted: neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you think you have what it takes to take on the burden of cuddling with BJ, give us a call at 502-222-7537 or email jojohsoc@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BJ, a LaGrange Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
