My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sally - 5 year old female purebred Miniature Schnauzer. Sally was rescued from a high kill shelter, where she had been picked up as a stray. She had a microchip but her owner decided not to reclaim her. We found from her microchip information that she was actually younger than the shelter had listed her as... she came in a matted mess and it was hard to see what was under there. When we groomer her we found a delightful little girl. We suspect from her microchip info that she had several owners in the past, and is what we call a "second time around shelter dog". We want to make sure Sally's next home is her forever home. Sally had a dental and had 5 extractions she feels much better now. Sally is approximately 16 pounds.

Our adoptions are restricted to residences of the Los Angeles, CA area. We do not ship animals nor do we do any type of long distance adoptions. See Our Adoption Policies for more details on our adoption policies.

Our Adoption Fairs are held every Saturday at the PETCO located at 537 N. PCH Redondo Beach CA 90277 from noon-4:00pm. It is best to come before 3:00pm to allow time to visit with the dogs.
