Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ruger von Rhine is a beautiful 12 month old German Shepherd. He will turn 12 months on July 26th. He was bought from a breeder by a military family, but because of moving around, they can no longer keep Ruger. He's a little confused now wondering what happened to his family, but this is what they had to say about this sweet boy:
He loves to go to the dog park, he is great with other dogs, he loves to play. My family has an older lab and he loves wrestling with him and palying tug of war and chase. He follows him everywhere, wherever the lab lays down to sleep, Ruger lays right next to him. He is house broken. He trained himself. When he was at my fiance's house before he left for bootcamp, he would let ruger sleep in his room with him. He never once had an accident, and always woke my fiance up to let him outside. He is very smart. He does not have any formal training, but he is very smart he can sit shake and speak. He does ok on a leash, a little training could help him, because he gets excited when he sees other dogs. He is a great running partner. He loves to go on runs with me and I feel so safe with him. He is a very loyal companion, loves to swim, play fetch, tug of war, chase birds (hasn't caught one) play in the sprinklers, go on walks, ride in the car.
