Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ruby is an eight year old Maltese that came from a very rough place (where most gems come from). However, she is making remarkable strides in her apprehension and beginning to trust in people that love her. She is wagging her tail and exploring her surroundings. She is great with other small dogs and follows them around like they are long lost siblings. She is starting to understand that she is able to run and play with dogs and has made significant changes in her personality very quickly. She has not had any accidents in the home and goes potty outside by following what the other dog in the house does (she loves running outside also). She has learned how to climb stairs but is still wary about going down a full flight of stairs (currently she has to go down 3 stairs to go outside and has mastered that). Due to the conditions she was in she is missing quite a few teeth. We started her off with soft foods but are incorporating small kibbles into her food and she seems to prefer those over the soft food. Since she is still very cautious she will only be adopted to a home without children. Ruby is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, microchiped, and spayed. Ruby’s adoption fee is $200.00. For an adoption application, e-mail buckyditsy@yahoo.com. All potential adopters are required to fill out and submit an adoption application. Once the application is reviewed and approved a home visit from a rescue representative is scheduled. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE NO NOT SHIP DOGS.
