Paulie's Story...
My name is Paulie - if I was a girl I would be called Marily Monroe with my cute black dimple. I am playful and curious but not a typical crazy cat - I am more on the calmside. I love those furry mice tough. If you are wanting a handsome guy you should meet me! I was found as stray but luckily Buster's Friends took me in - the street is a very scary place. Now I just want a home to call my own where I will be safe and loved.

Paulie is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. Her/His adoption fee is $85.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paulie, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
