Harley's Story...
***This cat is located in Henrico County, near Short Pump. DOB 8/16/10*** My name is Harley, I am a female tortie. I came into the pound pregnant and WECR took me in. I had a wonderful foster mom, who took care of me until I had my babies. At that time, she then took care of me and my five little babies, all of which are adopted. Now I need to find me a wonderful family to adopt me. I am very sweet and playful. I was a very good mom to my babies. If interested in Harley, please contact info@westendcatrescue.com

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a no-kill organization. We spay/neuter all animals either before adoption or after through participating providers.

What we stand for and what we do:

* rescuing homeless kittens and cats.
* provide medical assistance to our rescues (vaccinations, parasite treatment, tests, etc. )
* keep animals in our own homes until adopted.

Come Meet Our Pets...
PetSmart - Short Pump some Saturdays. Contact us to see if we'll be at Petsmart: info@westendcatrescue.com..
Our Adoption Process...
We require potential adopters to complete an adoption application and be interviewed to assure that our cats and kittens find good and permanent homes.

The adopting party must be at least 21 years of age, have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household, and have a valid ID with current address. Please understand that the completion of an application does not guarantee adoption.

Kittens must be at least eight weeks old before they can be adopted so they can receive their first Distemper Series vaccine and be tested for FeLV/FIV. They will also need to have a second distemper shot and rabies vaccine and be spayed or neutered.

We require an adoption fee to help defray the costs of health care while the cat/kitten is being fostered. This adoption fee must be paid in full via check or cash at the time of adoption.
