Cash's Story...
A dear friend and loyal supporter of ARWNY and Akita-SOS died recently. As with MANY families, ARWNY had promised to help her beloved Akitas to find a new loving home in the event of her death. ARWNY honors our commitments and feels strongly if we made a promise, we MUST keep it.

So two dear Akita dogs have no mom (dad died about 1 year ago). They were beloved dogs and after working with them we do feel Cash would do better without Ladee. He is too playful for our girl. Cash (5.5 years young) is a finished champion and yes the breeder is standing behind helping as well. Cash is quite a character! He bonds quickly and will welcome strangers with a kiss on the hand. He knows sit and down and shake and well he melts your heart when you meet him! So if your home would like to have our boy join it, let us know. He is thoroughly vet checked and healthy and even has his stomach tacked!

Many thanks and to my friend, you are missed, my heart has an empty space but you will NEVER be forgotten and we will find the best of homes for your beloved companions! Take care of all the Akitas in heaven until we meet again.

We prefer a home with children over 13 for Cash and no cats as we do not know how he would be. If you are interested in Cash, please fill out an online ARWNY application quick! Adoption contract required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cash, a East Amherst Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita for sale in East Amherst, or seeking a Akita dog from a breeder in East Amherst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Amherst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Amherst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita breeders who help with Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Amherst paves the way for another one to be saved.
