“Tired or your kitty? Just take her out to the country and dump her! She will fend for herself!” Well guess what, THEY CAN’T!!!!! Reya found her way to a home in the country after being dumped. This was a nice home that was feeding outside cats. Unfortunately they had formed a feral colony and would not let her eat their food. The woman feeding them witnessed this several times and finally contacted us. To make matters worse, Reya was pregnant. No wonder she was so hungry. She lost a piece of her ear in one ensuing battle. We told the woman to bring her in and we would get her. She was very thin and a little unsure. But after a vet visit to confirm she was healthy ( and find out she was pregnant), she immediately received the best nutrition possible to help her and her unborn kitties. She gave birth on may 31st to 4 beautiful , healthy kittens.
Reya has come so far since we have had her. She did not like other cats at all. But out of all the other cats she was around and didn't care for, she somehow found Allie. The 2 quickly found what they needed in each other. Allie being a little shy , is much more out going with Reya around. And Reya who didn't trust any other cats now is rubbing and playing with Allie all the time., These 2 need each other and will not be separated. Its truly a miracle to see the transformation in both of these girls now that they have each other. Reya will head butt you for some lovin and follows me around and rubs on my legs to get my attention. Contact Kris for more info at taxesrme@yahoo.com or 586-992-2810
