Shadow's Story...
SHADOW female DOB 5-23-12 black/white DSH
Here's the story of a lovely lady, who was bringing up four very lovely kittens...This super friendly, young cat was named Shadow by a lady who was feeding her because she was always at her side. Shadow loves to sit on your lap and have her fur stroked. She is learning to like all of the cats and dogs at her foster's house, but she is a little shy around dogs. Shadow has been spayed, has her rabies and distemper shots, and has tested negative for feline leukemia and feline FIV. This lovely girl is the mother of Hercules, Shakira, Jasper, and Victor. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Port Republic Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Port Republic, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Port Republic.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Republic already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Republic breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Republic paves the way for another one to be saved.
