My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was born in a litter of four kittens to a mom who was only 7 months old when she got pregnant with us. Besides me, there was one other girl and two boys. When we were about three weeks old, our mom left one of our brothers in some bushes. We missed him.
About three weeks after that, our other brother found some food in a metal box but when he went to eat it, the box closed. Pretty soon, a human came and took the box away with our brother in it. The next day, the box was back, but without our brother. Our mom went in to eat, and she got stuck too. Then it was just me and my sister. When the box was there again, we both went in.
Pretty soon we were back with our brother. We didn't get to see our mom for a few days, and when we did, she told us that she had been to the "vet" to get "fixed". I didn't know she was broken.
Mom got to go back outside after a few days, but the humans that had caught us in the metal box said that we were small enough to be "socialized" so that they could find a real home for us. So it was just me and my brother and my sister. But then some other humans came and fell in love with my sister Sissy, and took her home with them.
After that, it was just me and my brother Bug... then one day, our other brother was back! He had been missing for over a month! We were so happy to see him, but he wasn't happy to see us at all! He was mean to us at first! I found out later that he had been by himself for a long time, mostly kept in a bathroom during the day, so he wasn't used to having other kitties around. He also didn't like any noises, and it was really noisy that day! Plus, I think he was jealous that Mom left him behind and kept us. That same day, Bug went home with a new family, so it was just me and Sunny. He was really mean to me at first, and kept beating me up. I tried to hide in the corner, but he wouldn't leave me alone. The humans put me in a cage that night so he wouldn't pick on me while they weren't there to protect me.
Within a couple of days, Sunny and I had caught up on all the things that had happened to both of us while we were apart, and we were best friends again. He still doesn't really like to share his food with me, and sometimes he growls at me if I try to eat while he's eating, but I just wait until he's done eating and then I go eat. He never finishes all the food anyway. Other than the food thing, he's really cool. We like to sleep together and have wrestling matches, and give each other baths.
We have a foster mom and a daycare lady, and we go back and forth between foster mom's house and daycare lady's office. Foster mom says we are really good at riding in the car. Foster mom is really nice, and she plays with us a lot, but she has five other cats, and some of them don't like us very much. We like the office best because there are always lots of people to pick us up and cuddle us. We always let them know how much we like it by purring right away. Sunny especially likes to be picked up, and he will go put his paws on daycare lady's leg while she's working so that she will pick him up. Daycare lady says we can't stay here forever because her boss won't let her keep having cats in the office, so we have to find a home SOON.
Daycare lady took us to the vet on 7/31 to get "fixed" and get our last shots, so now we are ready to go to our new home. The only problem is, we don't know where our new home is. Do you know? If so, please call Denise at (954) 261-5014 and tell her so she'll know where to take us!
