Roger's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Roger's Story...
Roger is a sweet and gentle, almost blind and almost deaf, 12-year-old, 25-pound, male Tibetan Terrier looking for a loving guardian. Roger is great with people, and wonderful with other dogs. Found as a stray, he does get a bit disoriented in new places without the use of his sight and hearing. He can also be easily startled, so he’s probably best in a home without small children, and with someone will diligently keep him away from stairs so he doesn’t fall down. Otherwise, he gets around just fine and loves to go on walks. Because of his age, Roger spends a lot of time sleeping, and he makes an adorable little snoring sound. He is housebroken when kept on schedule and crate-trained. Roger is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, heartworm-tested and on preventative. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact his foster mom Tina at tinasells@yahoo.com or 773. 216.7355. His adoption fee of $75 benefits rescued pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roger, a Chicago Tibetan Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Tibetan Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Tibetan Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Tibetan Terrier breeders who help with Tibetan Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
