Mugsy's Story...
If you're looking for a lap dog who still enjoys social outings and walks, you've found him! This is Mugsy, a 9 year old pug, who's a dream of a dog! He's potty trained, crate trained, and extremely well-mannered. He's never met a stranger and loves to meet new people. Although not aggressive, he isn't particularly fond of other dogs and would prefer to keep all the love and attention for himself. Mugsy's adoption fee is $100; he's microchipped, neutered and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mugsy, a Indianapolis Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
