Mullighan's Story...
Maggie Mae and her 8 puppies were found at a recent spay neuter clinic when the puppies were just 5 days old. Although Maggie had hardly enough food for herself, she managed to feed her babies and keep them safe until we found them. This little family were welcomed into an loving foster home where Maggie has been a wonderful mom to her babies. These puppies are all healthy and happy, well socialized and are ready for their forever homes. And Maggie Mae is finally able to enjoy just being a dog without the worry of ever having to feed puppies again..And the puppies are ... Mullighan, Mickey, Molson, McDuff, Magnum, Minnie, Muggles and Moonpie.Mullighan is the smallest boy in the litter but this sweet puppy is a mush bucket of love and cuddles who loves to chase the ball and run after you for tag time. He can often be found laying calmly in the middle of all the puppies. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mullighan, a Okotoks German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
