Sadie's Story...
Sadie, Dach mix female puppy

Sadie is a little gal who's seen alot in her 7-8 short months of life. She's been bounced around through 3 homes and is ready for some stability. None of it has been Sadie's fault and she's received good care during this time, but having a home is most important. Sadie is living in foster care with other dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, fowl, cattle, horses...lots of new friends. She's done great.
Her adoption fee is $275 to help with the costs of her medical care for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Germantown Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
