Morgan's Story...
Morgan- Dach/Ch Male puppy

Morgan was found on his last days in a high kill shelter right before the July 4th holiday. Rescue had to scramble to get him out before he lost his life on our country's birthday. Morgan is just a puppy, about 8 mo. old. He's friendly and cute, full of playfulness and love. Morgan is getting along great with the other dogs in his foster home and is sure to brighten up his new families life. We think he'll be a small to medium sized dog as an adult.

His adoption fee is $275 to help pay his medical costs for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morgan, a Germantown Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
