Missy's Story...
Missy is a VERY sweet dog, ready for a home that treats her better than the first. She wasn't given heartworm preventative so unfortunately she tested positive for heartworm and is going through treatment. She will be ready for adoption in 8 weeks. Missy weighs 40 lbs and is the perfect size. She LOVES to play with other dogs and couldn't care much about cats. She has a cute little underbite and very soft fur. Her cute little ears are the finishing touch to this perfect little dog.

For additional information, please email info@youluckydogrescue.org. Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Alpharetta Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
