My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Minnie and I'm a smiley young gal who's ready for my new life and family. As of 7/24 I am about 3 years old and weigh around 60 lbs. I'm a lab mix and have such a pretty black coat. I was found as a starving stray. I was tied up at an abandoned house and left for a very long time. None of this changed how I feel about humans. I still want to trust and love you. I am very happy girl since I have been getting food and attention again!! I feel so lucky and can't wait to show my appreciation! I love giving kisses and getting my back scratched. I also really enjoy time with other dogs!! It would be great if you could take me on some nice strolls so that I can continue to learn how to walk with a leash and explore the neighborhood. I promise to be a great companion! Won't you consider making me a part of your family? Thanks for reading! WOOF! -- Please remember that dogs need time, attention, and continued training. Adoption fee $350. As a legal MA rescue all of our dogs have been through the states mandated 48hr Isolation at an approved isolation facility and had a clean health exam by a MA vet. We then place our dogs in one of our many wonderful foster homes. Please be sure to read all the info below. We look for families who have the time and commitment to raise a puppy to be a great dog. All dogs adopted from One Tail at a Time Rescue are here in New England at foster homes, spayed or neutered, up to date with vaccines, have been wormed, and are ready to go to their new homes now. We prefer adoptive homes in MA and NH -- we do not ship our dogs. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION unless you are ready to take a dog home now. Even if approved for a specific dog, we will not hold dogs while you go on vacation or a business trip or prepare your home. Our dogs are being cared for in private homes by volunteer foster families. Appointments to see our dogs are scheduled once an application has been submitted and approved by our adoption counselors. Thank you! --------------------------------------------------------- ** PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee breed or full-grown adult size of all our rescue dogs. Because these dogs are rescued from shelters, we do not know exact background and only list breed and size by our best knowledge. If exact breed and size are important to you, please look elsewhere. We want our dogs to be adopted by people who will love and care for them forever - no matter what breed and size they turn out to be! **
