Teddy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Teddy's Story...
Teddy was rescued from a high kill shelter. His owner was an alcoholic who was unable to care for him and his buddies. He is 3 yrs old, weighs 10 Lbs and is a very happy little dog and glad to be out of the shelter. He can't wait to be loved on. He is crate trained and rides well in the car. Can you give him the home he deserves? DebC

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Portland Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
