Riley's Story...
This is Riley. He is about 1 1/2 year old. He had been abandoned in a high kill shelter. He is such a happy little guy and so eager to please. He is spunky and doesn't like other male dogs. He loves to sit on my lap and cuddle or sleep next to me. He's very playful and energetic and gets along well with the female dogs. He's also very smart. He can be easily trained to do tricks when he gets individual attention in his new home. He has such a loving and playful personality. This is one dog you can have a lot of fun with. His adoption fee is $180 and includes shots, heartworm test, grooming, vet check, and neutering. If you are interested in meeting Riley, email angie@allcreaturesmatter.org for an application or you can complete one at www.allreaturesmatter.org.

Riley could also use a good foster home so if you're interested in helping out, please complete a foster application on our website at www.allcreaturesmatter.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Westfield Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Westfield, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Westfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
