This tiny, nine-pound boy is truly a companion pet!
BUTTONS follows his foster mom everywhere!
He is playful, enjoys retrieving tennis balls and chewing on his squeaky plush toys.
BUTTONS is being fostered in Weeki Wachee along with six other dogs and a cat.
Because of his small size, he would be suitable for a family with older children.
BUTTONS loves going for walks, but he especially adores sitting on your lap and being the center of attention.
BUTTONS is neutered, microchipped, current on all shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BUTTONS- Adopted!!, a Brooksville Japanese Chin/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Chin/Shih Tzu for sale in Brooksville, or seeking a Japanese Chin/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Brooksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Chin/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Japanese Chin/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
