Stella's Story...
Stella is a beautiful six month old Lab/Aussie mix. Stella is absolutely a delight to have in our home. She is a happy girl that loves people….especially kids. Stella loves to run and play in the yard with her sister but is calm when inside. She is smart, silly, knows the “sit” command and is eager to please. She is also fully housebroken. She loves hugs and kisses, belly rubs and really likes snuggling on your lap. Stella is always wagging her tail and looks like she always has a smile.
Come meet Stella, she will make a wonderful family member.
Stella is microchipped, spayed & up to date on her shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet her. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Cincinnati Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
