Madge's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting this kitty, please go to Click Here and fill out an application.

Madge has a beautiful and soft coat. With care, love and time, she has gained confidence and is an unbelievably beautiful cat personality-wise. She is very smart, quite cunning and extremely loyal. Madge is very friendly and loves to play especially with her laser pointer, but she also loves to cuddle and have her neck and ear scratched. She is litter trained, a good eater and LOVES treats. She is good with kids and was a very good mom to her kittens. which have all been adopted.

Madge looks very content in our home, and we hope that the right adopter will soon find her as beautiful as we do. She also helps us to stay focused when reading and working on the computer, and we love her manner and personality...it is going to hurt to let her go. Madge is a diamond in the rough, and anyone who adopts her will find her a bargain!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madge, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
