The person who alerted us to Jack's plight told us, "Jack is seriously *the most awesome cat* anyone could ever meet. He is just perfect! But he desperately needs a home..."

Jack is a three-year-old handsome tuxedo male with unusual markings. A big mush, he is always purring and can make himself comfortable anywhere! He likes other cats and is good with dogs and children, too.

Jack eats special food (inexpensive and easy to obtain) due to allergies. Though he will need to continue on this food, it's simple to get from your veterinarian...and it's worth it for such an agreeable boy!

Jack has been neutered and is up to date with his vaccinations. This sweet guy has been languishing in a shelter for nearly a year, and is desperately hoping that his food allergy won't cause him to be overlooked for one more day! Please consider giving this special boy his own home now.

If you can give Jack the home he deserves, please contact Nancy at He is located in Rhode Island.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Quincy Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Quincy, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Quincy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quincy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quincy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quincy paves the way for another one to be saved.
