Shadow is his name, and that’s exactly what he is. Shadow loves to be underfoot and part of whatever is going on. He wants to be included.

After all, there are so many new things to experience. There are kids to play with, new things to sniff and places to explore. There’s never a boring moment, and Shadow wants to be a part of it all.



This playful boy was found a few weeks ago by his foster family when he wandered down their driveway suddenly one day. After being unable to locate his owners, they set out to find him a great home. And that’s where we come in.

We believe Shadow is a Boxer/Lab mix, and he’s a big boy. Based on his current size and age, we’re expecting him to be at least 70 pounds when he’s all grown up, so potential adopters should expect a large dog as an adult.

Shadow is currently in foster care and has already been very well socialized. He loves to play with kids and likes other dogs and cats. He has already started on housebreaking, but he’s not quite perfect at it just yet, so he’ll need some more practice. Expect some accidents in the beginning while he gets used to your routine.
