Jelly Bean's Story...
Jelly Bean and Gummi Bear are a girl-boy tiger/white sibling pair. They were found living under a porch and followed a caring person all the way home ... and now they want to go to their furrever home -- with you! Jelly Bean and Gummi Bear are regular sweet and playful kittens who like to play with toys, snuggle, and explore. They enjoy the company of other cats, have lived with a dog, and are child-friendly (but please teach your children how to behave around cats and kitttens). Jelly and Gummi are a bonded pair and must be adopted together; they promise to keep each other happy and snuggly company and to provide their family a double-lifetime of love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jelly Bean, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
