Cookie's Story...
Cookie is a very sweet girl that needs a wonderful home. She had a rough start in life and ended up in the shelter as a stray. No one ever came to claim her. She has a healed jaw fracture that does not affect her ability to eat. Her tongue sticks out a little and has had a few teeth removed, but she is as good as new. She is estimated to be around 6 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and dewormed. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She likes children as well. She is being fostered in SC and there will be a transport if adopted. The adoption fee covers the veterinary services as well as the transport. For more info on how to adopt this sweet cookie, email me today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Baltimore Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
