Mishil's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Mishil's Story...
Mishil is a dainty but strong little Jindo girl who weighs less than 30 lbs. She is a female Jindo of an uncommon but standard color - black/tan. For more info about Jindos, please visit

Mishil is around three years old, is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a “forever home.”

Mishil is very much a lady ~ friendly and polite and in need a human companion who will love her and spend a lot of time with her. She has wonderful house manners, and loves nothing more than spending time curled up at her owners feet or next to them on the couch or bed. Typical for the breed she can be reserved around strangers, but seems to warm up to people even quicker than most Jindos! Mishil loves to be outside with people. She walks nicely on a leash and will thrive in a home where daily walks are part of the plan.

Mishil is in foster care after being returned to rescue due to the death of her primary caregiver. She lives with other dogs in the foster home and would do best with a friendly canine companion. As is often the case with this breed she is very high prey drive and does not do well with cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mishil, a Southern California Jindo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jindo for sale in Southern California, or seeking a Jindo dog from a breeder in Southern California.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southern California already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southern California breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jindo breeders who help with Jindo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southern California paves the way for another one to be saved.
