I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from CCHS, you have to complete an online application at http://www.collincountyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application.html and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.
Sweet Justice was found in horrible condition. He was close to death, emaciated, covered in mange and had a collar embedded in his neck. Collin County Humane Society took him in and rehabbed him back to health.
Justice hasn't let his bad start in life affect him at all! He has a great personality- funny, playful, loving and devoted. Justice is truly an example of a dog's amazing capabilities to love and forgive. He is absolutely loving life in his foster home, keeping company with 4 other dogs, 2 kids, and daily visitors. He adapts great to new situations and will do great with an active family! Oh, and HE LOVES TO RIDE in the car, he's a great car rider :)
Justice is 5 years old and weighs 60 pounds. Justice is crate trained, potty trained and gets along great with dogs and kids of all shapes and sizes. We can cat test if needed. Justice is heartworm negative, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Justice will be happily waiting for his forever home that will dote on him and cherish him like the diamond he is! If you would like to apply for Sweet Justice, please submit an application at: http://collincountyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application.html and his foster mom will be in contact within 24 hours.

Our Purpose is:
To rescue adoptable dogs and puppies from animal shelters and animal control facilities
To rescue dogs and puppies from abusive and neglectful situations, including puppy mills and "backyard breeders"
To help educate the public on proper animal care and promote spaying and neutering of all pets
To provide medical treatment for animals in our care
To provide foster homes for animals in our care
To place rescued animals in permanent, loving homes
To build and maintain a facility to house rescued animals and host adoptions.
To meet our pets, contact us about any dog/puppy you are interested in and we'll set up a meeting time/date between the adopter and foster home.
Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program. Their is a 5 day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family.
