Emmy's Story...
Emmy is short for Emerald. She has gorgeous green eyes and a beautiful silky coat. Emmy was surrendered to AZ Furry Friends by her owner due to a new person in the house having allergies. She was very scared and shy when she first arrived but she has come a very long way since then. She has become the resident mama kitty to all of the kittens in her foster home and she has even learned to tolerate dogs. She is very mellow and is content just watching the world go by. She would be great for a busy family who might not have the time and energy for a kitten. Emmy's favorite thing is to be brushed and petted. She is a great cat who deserves some stability in her life, if you can offer Emmy a loving home please please contact us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmy, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
