Milo is a male Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese mix puppy only 10 months old. He is small, weighing in at only 8 pounds. He should grow to reach his adult weight of 12 pounds or so. Milo has silky soft, flowing black, tan, silver and cream colored fur that is low to non-shedding. He is adorable in every way, currently sporting a summer cut due to severe matting and neglect of his lovely coat when we first rescued him. Milo has been professionally groomed. Milo is a sweetly sensitive young pup who has had a very rough start in life. He is just now learning how to play with stuffed squeeky toys and enjoys bouncing around the backyard, enjoying the sunshine and rolling in the grass. He gets along very well with other dogs and likes to frolic around with his doggie playmates in between naps. Milo loves attention and will be the first one to hop in your lap when you sit down. He is a great snuggler and needs the closeness and reassurance of his owners. Milo will do well in a stable, nurturing, gentle environment where he can gain confidence and where his puppyish personality can blossom and grow. He responds beautifully to a gentle touch and soft words. Milo is learning how to walk on leash and will now go for a stroll around the neighborhood, curious about everything and taking it all in. He will walk right by your side, or sometimes behind you, stopping when he sees a car go by or hears a loud noise. He gets braver every day and his joyful little smile shines brighter and brighter. He is a darling young dog and promises to be a very faithful and loyal little companion. Milo is looking for his perfect forever home today!
Milo's adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
