Roxy's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting these kitties, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Roxy loves to get a bath from her brother Duke. They are like two peas in a pod. If I see Roxy, her brother is not far behind. Roxy has beautiful stripes in her fur and is so soft to pet. She loves to be perched up high and watch events go on around her. She is the queen of the castle! Every morning she loves to sharpen her claws on her scratching block while waiting to be fed. Her meows sound so tiny (just like she is), but she opens her mouth real wide and pretends she is a lion roaring in the jungle. She is limber and superfast like a lightning bolt. She loves to play hide and seek in her cat tunnel with her brother Duke. She is pretty good at wrestling too! She loves to play in blankets and boxes and carry around little toy darts in her mouth. Roxy is warm and snuggly and loves to show her affection. She has a great appetite and is always looking for that perfect hiding spot!

Roxy and Duke have a strong bond and must be adopted together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
