TAFFY's Story...
This is sweet little Taffy. Right now the pup is young. These photos are taken at the age of four weeks. They are adoptable at 6 weeks of age. Mom has weaned the pup. They are all eating kibble moistened with water. Taffy is a sweet little girl. The white heart on the top of her head is so cute. Taffy loves to be held. She will give you kisses on your chin while you hold her. She would spend the day curled up in the crook of your elbow and be very content as she loves to snuggle. She loves to play in the grass. She plays with the blades of grass and explores around. She is very curious about her surroundings but is also very cautious. UPDATE: She is getting more adventurous outside. She really is a happy playful puppy! She is really cute to watch! UPDATE: Taffy is growing up so fast. She loves to run and play. When you walk into the room and she notices you her tail wags uncontrollably. She loves to run and play. She took a long car ride with us today and slept the whole way. She was not afraid. She will lay in your lap for hours and sleep. She loves to be pet and played with. She does not mind the other dog in the house at all and she hasn't even noticed the 2 cats roaming in the home. She would make a great addition to any family. If this baby is half as good as momma, you will have a FANTASTIC furry friend. Mom is well behaved and very calm. She gently wags her tail when she greets new people. She loves everyone. She was great with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes! She simply wanted to be with people. She is very well mannered! We had rescued mom from the streets of W. Virgina where she was roaming around looking for food in a trash bin. Mom was thin and not being taken care of. Once mom was off the streets, she was fully vetted and fed puppy food the moment it was clear she was pregnant. Mom is a beagle mix. With full milk pouches mom weighed in a 40 pounds. I am sure once her milk dries, she will be approx. 36 pounds big. We have no idea who the father was. Therefore, we will not know the exact size the pups will grow to be. However, we can tell you that the pups look like dad because they do not look like mom. Therefore, these pups are a mystery mixed breed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TAFFY, a West Milford Beagle/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Border Collie for sale in West Milford, or seeking a Beagle/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in West Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Border Collie breeders who help with Beagle/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
