Meow! My name is Bogey
I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Bogey is an extremely friendly and mellow FIV-positive, 4 year old male kitty. Bogey is such a calm gentleman – he just wants a lap to sit in and will stay there as long as you let him. Bogey has black fur but with a very unique feature – the very tips of his fur is streaked with white giving him a unique, especially handsome look. Bogey also has a favorite trick and toy – he has a squeaky mouse (which must go home with him) that he will throw in the air and chase – it is hilarious to watch. Bogey is just a love who wants a home of his own whether as an only cat, as a companion cat or in a more active household with other animals. This cat is FIV positive; FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. It is a lentivirus, meaning that it progresses very slowly, gradually affecting a cat’s immune system. It is passed through blood transfusions and through serious, penetrating bite wounds (mainly by stray, intact male cats). FIV cats usually live long and healthy lives as long as they are kept up-to-date on vaccinations and any illnesses that develop are treated aggressively.

Adopting the unadoptable.
Providing abandoned and unwanted pets a second chance.
We are Lee County's newest animal shelter. We do not euthanize pets to make room for other animals. We provide housing for special needs cats/kittens as well as healthy animals.
We do not believe in cages and try to keep the animals in a "home-like" setting.
Due to lack of space, at this time we are only accepting cats.
